Last wkend in New York

-4th Aug-

The weekend i am most looking forward yet least look forward to. Cos we are going niagara falls and cos i will be leaving after this wkend.

We were there early and had dim sum at century cafe .chinatown

Hoh was telling me how he anticipated "the maid of the mist " ride to be.

Him : " the ride will go along the river and suddenly u go ..WAH!!!!!.. cos the ride took the plunge down the falls "

Me : " ya right. but i like the wah expression. do it again "

Him : ".........Wah ....." and he repeated it like 5 times through the day due to popular demand.whaha

The coach stopped by corning glass musuem. We din enter cos we felt its not worth it . True enough everyone who went in complain cos the time given is way too short for em to go around...haha heng we only hang ard the shop.

We finally reached at 640pm..

The spectacular falls. one of the best sights i've ever seen. Wow! Love love love it...

We went for the "maid of the mist" ferry which brought us close to the falls.. n we spotted 3 rainbows ..its so heavenly!

Sun is setting,..We are standing between USA and Canada.

We finally got to Days Inn at 1am..zonked out. next day meeting at 6am to 1000 island. ( yes thats where the dressing originate from)

-5th Aug-

Alex bay town.

We went on the cruise around 1000 islands. There are abt 1700 islands around.

One of the houses built on an island..so nice lo..

but u need to be filthy rich . Quite a few big names own the properties there. 1 of em is founder of Macy.

back at the bay

And we got back to city at 9pm when we left 1000 island at 12 pm.

Jam was terrible. We saw a movie like scene on the highway back. the opposite lane was lined with helicopter,police cars and a long stretch of jam..We couldnt make out wats wrong. Too bad we didnt have a snap.New york is always so dramatic. Everynight in the city, you def hear police car /ambulance/fire engine siren.. very noisy.

and we end the night with Shabu Shabu at chinatown.
