Yea i had a very good birthday in new york with hoh!..Pity he took the camera, else i wld love to share e pics here. Next post then.



The 20 plus hours flight here is NO JOKE. My knee caps nearly gave way n man it's a super full flight. I swear i watched at least 4 movies. And the bus to hoh's hotel from the airport took at least 3 hrs to reach due to e stupid jam. I totally knocked out on the bus.



It was a friday when i reached, hoh wanted to bring me to this jazz bar. but pity i was really too tired to go out at all. I zonked out till sat morning.I tink i fainted.





On transit at franfurt airport. Its all abt boredom.




Randy, my 11 yr old travel companion who spoke like a 20 yr old. A very sensible kid who even told me his parents are divorced and he's travelling with his stepdad n stepbrother. I doubt an 11 yr old asian can even understand n accept a divorce. N I can't help but keep stealing glances at him through the flight cos he has the most beautiful eyes with the fluffiest lashes. He's so cute , i spot him watching spider man 3 twice.

Alina asked me to blog abt this. hmmm but other than my lost properties , i really have no idea what i want.

Right, i shall include whatever and anything i want or might desire to have.

1. A handphone!!! i need it ASAP....really can't wait.

2. A new wallet. ( i will probably go new york and buy )

3. Food
( sorry ,that's something that comes to my mind when i am trying hard to think of what i want. feeling bit hungry now )

4. A new white cardigian or jacket (simply cos its in the lost handbag)

5. a gd eyeliner ( its in THAT BAG as well..duh. shall gt it in states too)

6. blusher from japan ( arrr i so love that blusher. i want to do japan to buy it. its an old season one.dun carry much hope anyway )

7. Maybe a pair of good jeans? ha...thats so nt a typical wish list

8. A portable speakers for my lappie to bring overseas. ( must be small and light, ha)

9. A nice dress? ( that's like a desire anytime)

10. A nice spa retreat..(awwww... i want it right now! )

11. A nice watch ? ( with studs!ha...dunno la )

13. oh yes, a black knee high fitting flat leathery boots preferably with pointed tips ( i hope primark carries this when i go london again in aug )

Ok, i just did a super lame n impractical wishlist. but i tried my best.

Some updates...

My poor little ankle has recovered 90%. I can't jump , skip nor wear heels yet. but thankfully i can walk, n fast enough to work.

On my first flight after my mc to shanghai, i nearly got myself into deep shit. I woke up at 5.10am when the cab pick up is at 5.15am. I wish i fainted on the spot. It was a really MAD rush. i tied my bun within a record breaking 5 mins , did my make up n daunt my uniform in split seconds. I managed to get myself in my dad's car by 5.37 am. Really thankful that my dad woke up on e spot and drove me all e way to changi.

My reporting is 6.05am and i reached at 6.02am. i tried my best to walk fast and not limp. ( dat time my ankle prob recovered oni 70%, i made damn a lot of effort) . I am so glad the rest of the crew are very nice else i gonna have a hard time.


Finally....I bought myself a NEW and old camera. Feels quite weird cos i got back the same model Canon ixus 850 is. Its like buying the same species of dog to replace the old one....hmmmm...
anyhow i managed to get it at 70 bucks cheaper then my 1st buy. thanks to liqin. he recommended this store to me http://www.parisilk.com/index.htm . apparently i heard its cheaper then sim lim. It better be..haa


N my training flight to shanghai is quite a pleasant one. If u get nice crew , business class is def a better place to work in. And i did gel nails again there...cant resist the temptation la.


oh yes, if any of ur going shanghai in future, never miss out the dollar shop. its a steamboat restaurant with damn nice ambience n damn gd service! thumbs up for the food too!! Too bad no pics to show ( no camera yet). boohoo..

this is my 1st trial at gel nails in jan 07. This time round, i did glitter tips instead of french.



too bad have to coat them red for work. but when u remove the red vanish, tada it's the glittery nails again. ( for zhao zhao info,cos she asked me hw it works.ha)


I promise i will take damn a lot of pics when i go for my hongkong and san francisco flight tomorrow. Feel super deprived without my camera for this 2 wks. it's time i make a comeback.whaha.

Till i come back on the 26th jul.... but erm i gonna fly to new york on 26th jul night to find my hoh...yeah!

My only joy of the day

Today is Tues, 5th day of mc. I've been nuaing from sunday till today.
I did make myself a bit useful by going down to my training center to replace my staff id on Mon.

To date,my room is still in a mess, or rather even my life is in a mess. I just hope dat my ankle wun b injured again during work . I am goin on flight cumin sat already (doc says need 6 wks to fully recover plus my job is physically demanding..kp my fingers crossed)

Back to nuaing, i really got lotsa pending things to do. Quite a few ppl whom i plan to meet dis wk ( like Anwei, Elin & Peggy ) but sianz i m immobilised. Totally no mood to do ANYTHING AT ALL. (Blame it on my Da yi ma, she's due for visit soon)

Something more positive finally... my only joy of the day.

Maybe another gd news, i used half of my bonus to pay off my study loan. Yeah left 3 k now.. Soon soon.Cant wait to be debt free.
Planned to use all actually but too bad now, e rest is needed to compensate my losses and almost nil income in jul.

New Trauma


Went to bugis temple just now. When i was inside, i suddenly recalled dat my canon ixus 850 was also in my lost handbag. My heart sank...deeper than titanic..

With a camera inside my handbag, it becomes a different story. A $650 camera , will the cab driver be really that kind to return it back to me??? Highly not possible.

Wat a joke , my camera is barely 4 mths old can.

I did a rough calculation. Just this year ( its half a yr to be exact ) , my total loss makes up a total of ard $2000 bucks . That does not even include my injury which will further incur more losses cos i cant fly.

I gonna have a flower bath later. Hope will wash away my bad luck...and my bad mood...

feeling so down now.

What can be worse??

Lost my new handbag from hoh ( which is currently my fave ) , limited edition coach wallet ( u cant gt it anywhere already.sigh ) , ic, staff id (which i might b grounded and cannot fly ) , ezlink card ( only student identification , now i cant gt student discount anymore ) , driving license , my make up pouch and my phone ( refer to last entry ) within a Week in 2 different CABBIES!

I ought to do some self reflection man. Y am i so careless??? This is my punishment .

When i realised i left my handbag in e cab (by then i was upstairs n if u r wondering y i can leave such a big item behind, i was yakkin on the phone and i carried 2 bags @ dat time ) , i rushed downstairs. i saw a cab turing out of the carpark so i gave chase hoping to catch his attention. The most dramatic thing happened. I FELL DWN FROM A GRASS SLOPE ONTO THE ROAD and it hurt lik mad. I could have catch the cab if not for the fall. That point in time, I felt damn helpless n ridiculous. Am i shooting some comedy or tradegy?

N i bet its a tragedy. My left foot got so swollen , i can only limp.
I had my 1st SPRAIN OF MY LIFE...

thus i am officially on 1 wk mc. how am i gonna survive this long wk when hoh's gonna go new york tml and i cant even move ard normally!!!

i haven even recover my loss of income in may ( cos i only worked a wk) and now july's gonna be worse. 1st wk business class training,2nd wk mc, i dunno what's gonna happen in the 3rd wk. ( i might be grounded cos without my staff id , i cant fly. Or i might be recourse for business class cos i miss the last lesson today) and 4th wk i'm on leave.

I better visit the temple in the next few days.... hoh once told me that for every bad thing that happens, 2 gd things will follow . I am still waiting for the 4 good things to come .
