Fukuoka feels very different from Tokyo. It's nt as hippy..whaha. oh and it's famous for having the best ramen.

Grand Hyatt Fukuoka has the nicest hotel room among all the Japan stations.

Ok, this is funny, a mini LCD TV with only 4 channels right above the bowl. You cant watch while you r shitting , neither can u watch it when u are soaking in a tub ( cos it's just too far and too small). A bit extra.


Went Ichiran Ramen at Basement of the Canal city shopping center beside the hotel as recommended by a Jap crew. The concept is super cute lo. U wont feel embarrassed being spotted eating alone ( unlike if u eat in food court alone facing everyone) cos each customer has a cubicle. The longest time u can stay in your seat is 1 hr.


Tada, they will draw down the curtain in front of u once the food is here.


They only sell 1 type of Ramen. but u get a choice to choose the intensity/ amt of spice ,spring onions etc u want for ur ramen. Really the best ramen i've ever had. Simply yummy!


Wah, they even have a robot moving around canal city shoppin mall. It serves as an information center . If u need to use the terminal , just stop in front of it.


I went Tianjin area after the meal and spotted these stalls. so traditional.
